IMPORTANT INFORMATION

INSURANCE

  1. Many insurance companies are approving telemedicine/video counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is your responsibility to call your insurance company to verify if it is covered by your plan.

  2. We are considered an in-network provider with most Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Your plan may or may not cover video counseling. Always call to verify.

  3. We may qualify as an out-of-network provider with other insurance companies and â€‹we can provide superbills to submit to your insurance if they cover out-of-network treatment.

  4. We also accept private pay clients.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We respect your time and ask that you please respect ours as well. A scheduled appointment reserves that time only for you. If you need to change your appointment time or cancel please give a 24 hour notice. If you do not show up for your appointment or fail to cancel the appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged the full session rate or $100 whichever applies based on your signed consent forms. Communication helps us all!

SCHEDULING FOR MINORS (no divorce or court order)

As parents, you are welcome to call and schedule an intake appointment for your child, but it is recommended that you call first to discuss your child's unique situation and whether in-office or video therapy is appropriate for your child.

SCHEDULING FOR MINORS (with divorced parents or other custody order in place)

In order to schedule your child, it is imperative that we speak by phone. We must have consent from both parents/guardians in order to provide therapy. This requirement does not apply to a parent who can provide a copy of the custody order/parenting agreement which shows they have full custody and decision making rights for medical.
